Come stay a while—and Keep Austin Cozy!
Originally built in 1950, this updated cottage blends vintage charm with modern comfort. You'll find stylish flooring, updated appliances, a new central heating and AC installed June 2025, and a relaxed beach-inspired design—my personal touch to bring a breezy, coastal feel to Austin even if the coast is nowhere nearby :)
Located in the historic Kincheonville neighborhood, the home has a comfortable, lived-in atmosphere that's both welcoming and thoughtfully designed.
Nature lovers will enjoy being near Stephenson Nature Preserve, just a short walk away, and the Barton Creek Greenbelt, just a short drive to go to, with over 12 miles of scenic trails and swimming spots. South Austin is full of outdoor adventures to explore.
Guests have private access to the full living areas of the cottage, including all three bedrooms, the bathroom, kitchen, living room, and laundry area.
The front yard, private driveway, and back yard are also yours to use during your stay.
Two interior closets and the backyard shed are locked and not available to guests.

The ATX Cottage is located in the Kincheon sub-diversion, which began being developed in the 1960s. Many of the homes were originally located in Bergstrom Air Force Base and were relocated to this neighborhood. I’ve loved taking walks in this area and I think you will too.
If you're driving or taking Lyft, the on-ramp to MoPac freeway is less than 5 minutes away.
If you're looking for public transit, below are the two lines I'd recommend:
Eskew/Brodie (Stop ID: 4435) is within a 5 minute walk away and can get you to downtown via several connection lines in under an hour.
8300 West Gate/Siskin (Stop ID: 4431) is within 20 minute walk away and can get you to downtown via several connection lines in under an hour.
An Amazon Echo Show is available in the kitchen for music, weather, recipes, and more. The camera is disabled (shutter closed), and it’s optional—feel free to unplug it or let me know if you’d prefer it removed.
